About Marie Mills

I am a founder, strategist, and educator with over 30 years of experience across law, education, wellness, music, and digital innovation. My career reflects three decades at the forefront of the music industry, combined with a later evolution into legal studies, teaching, wellness, and now artificial intelligence.

Three Decades in the Music Industry
My journey began at just 15, when I signed my first record deal with MCA Records as part of a UK rap quartet under the legendary Mark the 45 King. I went on to spend three decades in the music industry as a recording artist, songwriter, lecturer, A&R director, and managing director of M19 Music.

During this time, I released music internationally, toured, and collaborated with artists across genres. I also moved behind the scenes, running labels, negotiating licensing and distribution deals across nine global territories, directing international campaigns, and building publishing infrastructure. Alongside the business, I lectured in music business at colleges in Birmingham and London, helping young creatives navigate the same industry I had grown up in.

Education & Law
Alongside my music career, I pursued academic training in law, business, and technology. I earned a Diploma in Law & Criminology with Distinction, followed by an LLB (Hons) in Law, as well as certificates in Legal Studies, Business, and Computing & IT. I also trained as a teacher, gaining a Level 4 Certificate in Further Education Teaching.

I combined these qualifications with hands-on teaching roles — tutoring LLB, Business, and IT students, specialising in exam resits, legal analysis, and neurodiverse learners. My ability to translate complex subjects into plain, practical language has been a defining strength throughout my teaching career.

Wellness & Holistic Coaching
As founder of Holistix Therapy & Coaching, I delivered sensory-based wellness services, CBD therapy, and holistic coaching frameworks. This work was particularly focused on clients with chronic illness and those seeking balance and resilience in their personal and professional lives.

Global HNW Roles
From 2016 to 2020, I worked internationally in high-net-worth households as a tutor, governess, and close protection nanny. These roles combined education, safeguarding, and cultural competence, while demanding confidentiality and adaptability in high-pressure environments across the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.

Current Work: Conglomerate 101 & MSc AI for Business
Today, I am completing an MSc in Artificial Intelligence for Business at the University of Law (2025–2027), while building Conglomerate 101 — a hybrid AI studio and learning lab. This platform combines my experience in law, music, education, and wellness into one mission: creating ethical, accessible digital systems that give underrepresented entrepreneurs the same tools and infrastructure usually reserved for corporations.
Through CO-101, I have launched a free AI Toolkit Series, built CO101 TV (a digital channel for thought leadership and creative voices), and am designing a flagship course for cultural entrepreneurs.

Three decades in music taught me the realities of creative industries: the opportunities, the pitfalls, and the urgent need for infrastructure that protects and empowers. My later studies in law and AI have given me the tools to build those systems. This site is where my journey, skills, and projects come together — a professional profile, and a foundation for the work I continue to build.
